Construction of new building

The project involved the construction of a new three storey Science Building which includes a separate, adjacent research facility building at Parramatta Campus, University of Western Sydney.
The building includes lab teaching spaces, meeting rooms, offices, seminar rooms, amenities and common areas, car parks and extensive in ground infrastructure works.

The building achieved Green Star 6 accreditation.

Electrical, Communication & Equipment Services

David Power Commercial Services Division was responsible for the supply and installation of the following systems:

    • Main & distribution boards and cable sub mains
    • General lighting & lighting control
    • General power
    • Emergency and exit lighting and monitoring
    • Fire alarm
    • Security / access control  / CCTV
    • Lightning protection
    • PV Solar
    • Data
    • Sound masking

 

The Lighting Package implemented was an alternate solution to specified products offering a significant cost saving to the client.
