Construction of new landmark building

The iAccelerate Centre is a landmark building within the Wollongong University Innovation Campus – a centre of Australian innovation and research excellence. The centre is home to a business incubator and accelerator that foster innovation in the starting up, development and growth of new businesses.

The facility is designed to provide a ‘plug and go’ expandable space for more than 280 entrepreneurs of fast growth start-up companies.  iAccelerate will provide support, mentorship, professional services and access to seed funding for companies as they develop.

David Power Commercial Services Division provided electrical, communication and equipment services for this project, including:

    • High voltage substation
    • Main & distribution boards and cable sub mains
    • General lighting & lighting control system
    • General power
    • Emergency and exit lighting and monitoring system
    • Fire alarm system
    • Security / access control  / CCTV system
